The New Normal
Our focus is on the health and safety of our Guests and Staff.
Our door is OPEN by Reservation
The Lamplight Inn has heightened our already stringent disinfecting and cleaning practices for food handling and bedroom and public area disinfecting and cleaning.
Public Areas of the Inn
Face masks will be required for Guests and Staff in any public area of the Inn. This includes the lobby of the 1890 Building and the entrance of the Carriage House. This also includes the Inn’s wrap around porch, Carriage House porch and the Inn’s grounds. We are social distancing all public areas.
Hand sanitizer stations will be in the entrance of the 1890 Building and Carriage House.
Check In and Check Out
A Face Mask will be required by Guest and Innkeeper. A plexiglass screen has been installed at the front desk. Room keys are sterilized and placed in a plastic bag. We will not be operating at full capacity this 2020 season. We will rest our bedrooms for 48 hours between guests. Bedrooms are locked after cleaning and sterilization concentrating on high touch areas. We are finishing off the bedroom and public area with a UV wand.
Bedrooms have been simplified! Bears, diaries, pens, shams, decorative quilts, and throw pillows are out!
Daily Housekeeping is suspended for now. Fresh towels and amenities will be at your bedroom door each day.
Lamplight Guest Breakfast
At the moment our dining room is closed. There will be a Guest menu in each room on check in. It will be the dining room choices! Just check your selections, and time you would like your breakfast delivered, (between 8:30 am and 9:30 am), and it will be delivered to your room. The menu could be dropped at the front desk the night before, or texted to the Innkeepers in advance.
A Note to Our Wonderful Guests
This is all new to us, and we will do our best to keep everyone well and let you have a nice getaway. We have a very flexible Cancellation Policy. Please do not come if you are not feeling well, there will be no loss of deposit.
