The Lamplight Inn Bed and Breakfast entails two separate buildings. The original, grand 1890 Victorian Inn and the Carriage House. Each has its own personality, a beautiful mix of old fashion charm and modern amenities. The 1890 building with its back to back fireplaces is the center for gathering. The spacious great room is the perfect place to relax, play games, especially Scrabble and work on the current jigsaw puzzle. The wraparound porch is a favorite spot to visit with old friends and new, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by. The spacious and bright sun porch dining room has a view of the lawns and Adirondack mountains in the distance and greets our guests each morning with a memorable breakfast. State of the art Wi-Fi is available throughout.

The Great Room / Guest Sitting Area
The heart of the Lamplight Inn Bed and Breakfast is our spacious great room, divided into three comfortable areas. The T.V is discreetly hidden by comfortable chairs and a perfect table for a game of cards. One of two fireplace areas has a comfortable dawn sofa and chairs, a perfect reading or visiting area. The second fireplace area is set up with an ongoing jigsaw puzzle and of course a Scrabble table.
Other amenities in the Great Room are a service bar and wine selection. A coffee and tea section, plus cookies, and the Inns Gift Shop.

Sun Room Dining
Aromas fill the Inn each morning. Breakfast is served from a menu anytime between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. The dining room is bright and airy. Individual tables topped with crisp white linens are set up so the guests can enjoy their privacy or make new friends. Cell phones are silenced during breakfast so guests can enjoy this special experience. Our pleasant staff will help you plan your day.

Grounds, Garden and Trails
The Inn’s wraparound porch leads to our beautiful grounds, where you can stroll the original garden steps to the perennial garden, with its turn-of-the-century arbors. Relax on our lounge and Adirondack chairs, or read in the shady double swing.
Our twelve-acre wooded trails begin behind the Carriage House, including “the Old Indian Trail” as it’s known by locals, overlooking the Hudson River. In the winter it makes a wonderful cross-country or snow-shoe trail.
Across from the Inn there’s also Pavilion Park and Lake Luzerne Public Beach, a great spot for swimming and kayaking. Concerts in the Park are every Tuesday during the summer.

Wrap Around Porch
The 1890 building boasts the most beautiful and comfortable 40 foot wrap around porch. Hanging flowers, wicker galore and lots of tables to get comfortable. The Inn’s free state of the art compass style Wi-Fi is available indoor and outdoor on our grounds and even in the garden.
