Located in upstate New York's Southern Adirondack Mountains in the Village of Lake Luzerne, we're just minutes away from all the action in Lake George and Saratoga Springs. Sitting on ten acres of lawn and wooded mountain trails and surrounded by towering white pines, the Lamplight Inn looks like a dream Inn should!

The Lamplight Inn Bed and Breakfast entails three separate buildings. The original, grand 1890 Victorian, the Carriage House and the Brookside Cottage. Each has its own personality, a beautiful mix of old fashion charm and modern amenities. The 1890 building with its back to back wood burning fireplaces is the center for gathering. The spacious great room is the perfect place to relax, play games, especially Scrabble and work on the current jig saw puzzle. The wraparound porch is a favorite spot to visit with old friends and new, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by. The spacious and bright sun porch dining room has a view of the lawns and mountains in the distance and greets our guests each morning with a memorable breakfast.

The 1890 building includes eight 2nd floor bedrooms including 2 Jacuzzi/Fireplace suites and 5 gas burning fireplaces. The Carriage House has five suites, 4 have Jacuzzi/Fireplaces and one has a gas burning fireplace and is wheelchair accessible. The Brookside Cottage is perfect and private for 2 couples. Both bedrooms have gas burning fireplaces. All bedrooms have private bathrooms, TV and Wireless internet.

Summer activities include swimming, biking, whitewater rafting and tubing, kayaking, horseback riding, rodeo, summer music festivals, hiking, boat cruises, outlet shopping. Nearby Saratoga Racetrack and Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC). Colorful fall foliage, near all fall events including the Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival and the World's Largest Garage Sale. Winter Holiday Bazaars, 100 miles South Warren Snowmobile Trail systems, Lake George Winter Carnival, downhill skiing at nearby West Mountain or Gore Mountain. In town snow tubing, ice fishing, snowshoeing and winter horseback riding. Walking distance to classes at the Adirondack Folk School.

What's New at The Inn?

Memorial weekend is going to be the grand opening of our summer season. Fireworks are Saturday in Lake George Village.
Everything will be open. Parades and Craft shows, horseback riding, boats on Lake George.
White water rafting will begin on the Sacandaga River. Folk School is holding some wonderful classes.
The weather is supposed to be cool and beautiful. Perfect for hiking. Local Hadley Mountain is very popular for hiking.
