Step off the wrap around porch onto the beautiful grounds of the Inn, walk up the original garden steps to the perennial garden with it's original turn of the century arbors. The 8 acre wooded trail begins behind the Carriage House and has a series of original trails leading to the Brookside Cottage. Called the old Indian trail by the local residents of Lake Luzerne, the back trail overlooks the Hudson River. In the winter months it makes a wonderful cross country practice trail.
Make yourself comfortable on lounge chairs and scattered Adirondack chairs, or read and relax in the shade covered double swing.
Across the street from the Inn is the Town's Pavillion Park where there are barbecue grills and free concerts on Thursday nights during the summer, and the Lake Luzerne Public Beach where you can put in a kayak or take a swim.
